HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
Drop us a message using our contact form telling us when you need the cake, what theme you have in mind and how many people you require the cake to serve. We’ll get back to you with a quote once we’re done sweeping up the pixie dust in the kitchen.
DO YOU OFFER FONDANT CAKES?
The Pastel Pantry specialises in bespoke buttercream cakes. While we do use sugar paste to create decorations, we do not offer fondant covered cakes as we believe taste is pivotal and nobody likes a mouthful of saccharine sweetness! Our buttercream cakes are always frosted to flawless perfection too (we’ve been told our cakes are so straight and immaculate that they look fake!), so you can rest assured that your cake will look and taste equally beautiful.
DO YOU PROVIDE DELIVERY?
The price quoted does not include delivery. We provide delivery only for large tiered cakes at an additional cost. Self-collection can be made from our location in Loyang.
HOW DO I STORE MY CAKE?
All cakes have to be stored in an air-conditioned environment to preserve the sugar paste/floral decorations. Please refrain from refrigerating your cakes as this will cause condensation to form on the decorations when you remove the cake from the fridge, resulting in instant melting and stickiness. (Eek!)
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I HAVE TO PLACE MY ORDER?
We require at least 3 weeks’ notice, but do place your order as soon as you’ve got the details of your event sorted as slots fill up quickly and we’d hate to say no!
I SAW A CAKE AND I WANT ONE EXACTLY LIKE IT. CAN YOU MAKE IT?
While we do not recommend replicating a design as we believe each cake should be as unique as you are, we will do our best to make something similar (even then, changes will be made to the design) if it fits within our oeuvre of work.
DO YOU OFFER VEGAN/ GLUTEN FREE CAKES?
Unfortunately no. All our cakes contain flour, eggs, milk and butter and we are currently unable to substitute those ingredients.
ARE CANDLES PROVIDED?
Please note that candles/knives are not provided. Our cakes are best cut with a sharp kitchen knife.
